This is a collage I made to represent the travels of a small girl through the world and out the stars.

It is made up of photographs found in the New York Public Library Image Collection; the pictures where scanned and cut into smaller pieces.

I am a lover of stars, and wanted to depict the dream I had as a smaller child, I wanted to climb up a ladder and grab myself a star for it to shine inside of my room.

I was also trying to symbolize life's beauty and human significance. The moon, made from cheese pictures, adds a playful touch and a hint of surrealism.
